Natural
Building Presentation
Two
professional Natural Builders will discuss various techniques
including straw bale, timber frame, thatch, cob, and living roofs
that aim to connect a building with its surrounding environment in a
more holistic way. The focus is a straw bale and timber frame house
built in the form of the Fibonacci spiral.
Building

Earth
Personal
habitats heavily affect our personal lives, workspaces, and society
at large. We can improve our habitat with greater understanding of
the environment around us. Natural building promotes this
understanding by taking a hands-on approach using local, natural
materials to actively improve our habitat.
