Perhaps people with technical knowledge in certain areas could be responsible for fundraising in that sector? Please if anybody has a sector of society that they feel they know well, don't wait...call up people and talk to them about S.H.I.R.E. I have talked to several green builders about the ideas, with good leads towards people interested in funding projects. This is my most effective angle and as I get more into it the more doors open.

A good thing to post is what the shire means from different angles. S.H.I.R.E can do many things for many people, but i don't think it is effective, for example, to try and fundraise from builders by talking farming. Equally, seed banks are probably interested in natural building, but they would be more likely to fund a project maintaining biodiversity. We can do both things because they are connected, but people like to talk about their passions.

Anybody else have a specialty they are passionate about that they can share?

hear is a great resources for grants. We can get these all we have to do is look, and apply our selves.

our first goal is to get a grant to run the eco blog and articles pages. We need funding to pay 2 people minimum, a publisher and editor. Both of these people will also be writing an article every other day. This will bump our publications to 5 time a week, with other added articles coming in from other sources.

Can we get a status update? Is anyone currently working on this? Can someone volunteer to work on this. We need to get some funding, so that people involved might be able to work full time on this stuff.

Lets step up people, there's a lot to be done and we need people to do it.
