I was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the year of Orwellian doom. Unafraid, I began to involve myself in getting to the roots of our cultural dilemmas and investigating how to remediate, rehabilitate and recuperate from our collective losses. The solution is ecological sustainability, pure and simple. The other founders and I began to develop a clear and concise design to reach world-wide Ecological Sustainability, and we subsequently developed the S.H.I.R.E.
My desire to see the world become more free and wild and sustainable every day is what drives my work. I have been co-developing the S.H.I.R.E. for the last six years, has been involved in the Sustainablity Movement for the last twelve years, and have traveled to 47 states, 11 countries, and deep into the heart of what works to make the world healthier and happier every day. I draw inspiration from the great thinkers and actors of our time from Geronimo to Crazy Horse, William McDonough, to Derrick Jensen, Van Jones to John Gatto.
