Since our last land lunge failed, we are valiantly trying to find a piece of property to start doing research on.   Our  number one criteria are that it is within 100 miles of the Sea and above 100 feet in elevation.   it also has to have good sun, wind and water available  on site.   A stream would be ideal for generating large mounts of power.   We are looking at a few places in Oregon and Washington but nothing has jumped out at us. &n ..read more

We have acheaved nonprofit status in the state of Washington as well as a federal Emplyer Identifacation Number.  We have 27 months to compleat the next our next step, to get Fedral 501c3 status. We are going to delay to compleate this process until our first annual meeting in early may, in MA. This gives us some time to generate the $750 fee  for registration.  

To move ahead we need to get funds to support our endeavorer.   as i write this all staff all are donating their time to the organization.  We can not afford to but anything as we have no budget what soever. We need grants to run the website; adds,  writers, editors,  programmers.

To embark on the road to acquiring our first piece of land for the first SHIRE, mandated that we get Non-profit status.
